CCTech is pleased to have supported Francicea Ltd with the development of a new dedicated cleanroom manufacturing facility at Venture House, Davidson Road, Lichfield.
This project represents an important milestone for Francicea, a UK-based supplier of complementary and alternative therapies with over 30 years of experience in the industry. The development will support the company’s planned expansion from supply into manufacturing, providing a purpose-designed environment for the preparation of homeopathic products.
The proposed facility is intended to support the manufacture of single homeopathic remedies, multi-component remedies, single dilutions and multi-component dilutions, including sucrose and sugar-free formats. The product range will include liquid attenuations and potencies such as X, D, C, K, LM and CM, using Korsakovian and Hahnemannian methods, together with impregnated globules and tablets for oral or external use.
CCTech was engaged as technical advisors and validation consultants, providing specialist guidance on the cleanrooms, HVAC system, purified water unit and production equipment. Our role included supporting key technical decisions, advising on GMP-aligned design expectations, and providing practical validation and compliance input throughout the project.
As with many specialist manufacturing projects, the successful delivery of the facility requires careful consideration of the product, process, cleanroom classification, personnel and material flows, utilities, equipment requirements and documentation strategy. CCTech worked closely and collaboratively with the end user team and Cleanroom & Containment Facilities Limited (CCF) to help ensure the developed design is practical, compliant and aligned with Francicea’s future operational needs.
It was a pleasure to support Francicea during this important stage of their business development and working alongside a collaborative project team of experienced contractors, committed to establishing a robust manufacturing platform for complementary and alternative therapy products. This collaborative approach supported efficient project delivery, helping the team complete the project within a six-month timeframe.
The state-of-the-art facility includes:
- A Grade D production cleanroom
- A CNC support space for packaging and labelling activities
- Supporting HVAC, purified water, and production equipment systems
Designed to support controlled preparation and manufacturing processes, the facility will provide Francicea with a dedicated cleanroom environment capable of supporting the production of homeopathic remedies in a structured, controlled and scalable manner. The approach will help strengthen the company’s manufacturing capability while supporting future growth in a specialist healthcare product sector.
